Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
The purpose of our youth ministry is to bring teenagers into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to see them grow in spiritual maturity in that relationship. We want them to come together to worship and enjoy God as they study His Word each week and develop an intimate, personal relationship with Him.
Every Sunday Morning at 10:00 a.m. we have Bible study classes for Jr. and Sr. high students designed to
help them study, discuss, and apply God's Word.
CCBC offers many ministry outlets for the youth group. Praise Band, Childcare, Work Days, our annual Carnival and Vacation Bible School are just some of the ways teens get involved in outreach to the church and community. They also participate in Mission trips.
Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. we combine the Jr. and Sr. high youth for a time of Bible teaching, music, songs, skits, snacks, and games. John and Michell Fuxan are our new Youth Group leaders.
They will address contemporary issues facing teens from a Biblical perspective.
We have monthly activities designed to provide opportunities for further discipleship and fellowship. Swim parties, bowling, retreats, and conferences are just a sample of the other activities planned for our youth.
The Youth look forward to the extra activities with their peers. On Saturday, September 13, they will come together for dinner and Water Wars Night! The evening will be full of food, fun, and fellowship. Please see John or Michell Fuxan for details.
