Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
The purpose of our youth ministry is to bring teenagers into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to see them grow in spiritual maturity in that relationship. We want them to come together to worship and enjoy God as they study His Word each week and develop an intimate, personal relationship with Him.
Every Sunday Morning at 10:00 a.m. we have Bible study classes for Jr. and Sr. high students designed to help them study, discuss, and apply God's Word.
CCBC offers many ministry outlets for the youth group. Praise Band, Childcare, Work Days, our annual Carnival and Vacation Bible School are just some of the ways teens get involved in outreach to the church and community. They also participate in Mission trips.
We have monthly activities designed to provide opportunities for further discipleship and fellowship. Swim parties, bowling, retreats, and conferences are just a sample of the other activities planned for our youth.
Annual Christmas Party Dec. 10
It's that time again. This is an activity that the Teens look forward to every year. There will be food, fellowship and fun all around along with a gift exchange from $10-$20. Please see John or Michell Fuxan for details on this year’s party, Wednesday, December 10, at 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Teen Bible Study
This will begin again on January 7.
Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. we combine the Jr. and Sr. high youth for a time of Bible teaching, music, songs, skits, snacks, and games. John and Michell Fuxan are our Youth Group leaders.
They will address contemporary issues facing teens from a Biblical perspective.
