Welcome to our CCBC Women's Page

The Cedar Creek Bible Church Women’s Ministry seeks to equip women of all ages in their walk with the Lord by providing opportunities for connection, discipleship, and outreach.
We invite you to join our community as we encourage one another toward spiritual growth in relationship with Jesus.

Our Annual Women's Retreat

Our very own Elise White had invited her niece to come and speak to us.  Abigail Etter, granddaughter of Kathy Bryant, is a wonderful speaker, singer and songwriter.  She was raised in Texas and attended Bible College in Wyoming at Frontier School of the Bible.  It was there that she met her husband, David.  She currently lives in western Colorado where she is a stay at home mom to her two boys, Gabriel and Isaiah.  She loves gardening, fishing, hunting, and enjoying the Colorado sunshine on her front porch swing.

Note:  Throughout the Retreat, we had heavy rain in the background.  May be hard to hear over the rain in some instances.  We were blessed to have her come speak to our ladies here.

Ladies Bible Studies

We usually offer two options for group Bible study twice a year; one meets on Monday evenings and the other, Thursday mornings.  We welcome you to partner with us as we invest our time in God’s word and seek to cultivate our hearts and the gifts He has given us to better glorify God in our community.  These studies are held serially rather than regularly.

The Thursday morning Bible study has begun.  They meet at 10:00 a.m. here at the church.  They're studying and discussing the background and Biblical meaning of some of our favorite hymns.  Childcare will be provided thanks to Shari Parry and Ava Mondragon.  Of course there will be snacks.  It's not too late, come and join the fun!
For more information please see Sharon Jarvis.

The Monday evening Bible study will start February 24 at 7:00 p.m.  They will be meeting at Laura Strickland's house.  The study will be on "Jonah ~ Navigate a Life Interrupted."  Please see Laura for more information.

I Thessalonians 5: 11  Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

The Ladies & Girls had a great time at our Annual Christmas Party!

Ladies & Girls Annual Christmas Party!

There's a new outreach opportunity at The Lodge.  We have been visiting the residents there to worship with them, engage in fellowship, and bring a light snack to share.  It's a once a month ministry at this time.
The next visit is planned for March 18.  All are invited!  Pastor Bob along with other men have also joined in as well.  We meet there at 10 a.m.  Please see below what a wonderful time we have with the residents as we share Christ's love.
Located at 155 Dunaway Ave, Gun Barrel City. For more information, please see Sharon Jarvis (thelodgegbc.com)
