Every first Sunday we have communion in the Worship Service.
Wednesday Night Programs - These programs have ended for the season.
June 9 through 13 - VBS Our next VBS will be June 9-13, 2025 @ 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Joseph's coat of many colors brought out a lot of emotions from everyone around him. His coat made an impression on all of his brothers. Come and see how people in the Bible went through the same kind of emotions as we do today. Hope to see you there. If you are interested in volunteering to help with VBS this summer, please call the church office. June 15 -VBS Sunday with Brunch We hope you’ll be able to join us for our celebratory VBS Brunch. You will have an opportunity to see the VBS classrooms and décor. Where your kiddos were at all week, what they participated in and who their teachers were. This will be in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us, there will be plenty of food to share. June 24 - The Lodge, Assisted Living and Memory Care Please join us at 10:00 a.m. as we visit the residents of The Lodge. We worship with them and engage in fellowship afterwards as we share some sweet treats. Even the staff there enjoy our visit. Everyone is welcome. July 19-26 - Youth Mission Trip Our Youth Leaders and our Youth Group are joining Bob Kerr, one of our Missionaries, in Mercedes and Weslaco, TX. They will be ministering to the Boys and Girls Clubs in these cities. They are getting ready to share the Gospel to everyone in attendance. This years theme is Camp Good News. Appropriate since that is what Gospel means, good news. Please join us in prayer beforehand for hearts to be opened there to receive the good news. For the Gospel to go out into these cities and spread abroad through the kids they are ministering to and traveling mercies there and back for all involved in this very important ministry. For more information, please see Karen Holmes, John Fuxan, Michell Fuxan, or Emily Wise. |
Trust everyone is doing well. Many in the body have reached out and offered to be of help and service in any way to older members of the congregation. Kelly and Elise White have offered to co-ordinate this effort. If you would like to be a part of that or know of someone who might benefit from that, please contact Ken or Bob. These are increasingly uncertain and difficult days. May each of us be confident that “The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22,23) |
