Every first Sunday we have communion in the Worship Service.
Wednesday Night Programs - These programs have ended for the season.
May 9 - Spring Carnival This is a community favorite. It's all FREE! There will be games, games, and more games with prizes, candy and snacks for everyone! Please join us for a evening filled with fun all around. Times for this event will be announced soon. May 10 - Carnival Take Down We will obviously need help taking it all down and storing it for the next time. Please plan on joining us to put everything away in it's proper place. Again, Pastor Bob will take the lead on this as well. May 11 - Mother's Day Please join us as Pastor Ken Emerson will have a special message for Mother's Day. May 14, 21, 28 - VBS Prep nights The countdown to VBS is beginning. We have three prep nights scheduled on Wednesdays. We will have a dinner from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. then prep 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Please join us and see how this amazing event comes together. May 18 - Congregation Business Meeting Please plan on attending our semi-annual Congregational Business Meeting on Sunday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m. May 25 - Graduation Sunday Graduation Sunday is for High School graduates. We have several young adults graduating this year. We want to recognize Royce Fletcher, Keifer Scherm and Ethan Larson. We also have a special shout out to Katie Hinds that is graduating from Texas A&M...Whoop! We are very proud of what they have accomplished and we will support them in their future endeavors. June 9 through 13 - VBS Our next VBS will be June 9-13, 2025 @ 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Joseph's coat of many colors brought out a lot of emotions from everyone around him. His coat made an impression on all of his brothers. Come and see how people in the Bible went through the same kind of emotions as we do today. Hope to see you there. If you are interested in volunteering to help with VBS this summer, please call the church office. Teen and Junior Camp June 16 through 21 - Teen Camp July 7 through 12 - Junior Camp Camp registration is going on now! Registration forms are available in the foyer. Please see pastoral staff for more information. |
Trust everyone is doing well. Many in the body have reached out and offered to be of help and service in any way to older members of the congregation. Kelly and Elise White have offered to co-ordinate this effort. If you would like to be a part of that or know of someone who might benefit from that, please contact Ken or Bob. These are increasingly uncertain and difficult days. May each of us be confident that “The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22,23) |
