about CCBC...

Cedar Creek Bible Church is an active and growing group of people who are committed to studying God's Word, applying it to their daily lives, and sharing God's gift of salvation with those who have not yet trusted Christ for their eternal salvation. While our size and ministry have expanded over the years, we remain committed to the principles which first shaped us. In fact, we like to describe ourselves as a group of people who are committed to making a difference by making disciples of Jesus Christ.

What exactly does discipleship look like at CCBC? Our pastor, Bob Parry, describes it as a process. "Forever being molded even while being nurtured, it consists of Bible Study, service, fellowship, and outreach - but we have no magic recipe." However, we do  have a variety of ministry and fellowship opportunities by which we seek to engage in this process of discipleship. A kid and family-centered church, our children's ministry seeks to lead our kids into an understanding of the gospel while providing them opportunities to grow in their relationship with Christ.

There are several events for both children and youth throughout the year. Our AWANA Bible Study serves over 60 boys and girls each Wednesday night during the school term, while our teens and adults gather for their own studies using age-appropriate lessons and activities. Each Friday night in December, February, and March, we love to host a free Skating program that is designed for the community to come together to roller skate, play games, enjoy concessions, and listen to Bible lessons that are presented in creative ways. We close our Skating season with the Spring Carnival - a family fun night of game booths, prizes, and concessions that is free and open to the community.

CCBC has a number of opportunities for outreach in other areas as well. The Nursing Home Ministry uses a variety of themes and programs to brighten the lives of the Mabank Nursing Home residents with the love of Christ. Care packages to our college kids and Christmas food baskets to friends in need are just a few of the ways that we enjoy sharing God's love with others.

At CCBC, we strongly believe that fellowship is an important means by which we can encourage one another to greater growth in our relationship with Jesus. As a result, we provide several opportunities for our church family to get involved in each other's lives throughout the year. This isn't an exclusive family by any means; we would love to have you join us for our Fall Family Night in October, our Church Picnic in May, and each one of our upcoming events.
