The purpose of our youth ministry is to bring teenagers into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to see them grow in spiritual maturity in that relationship. We want them to come together to worship and enjoy God as they study His Word each week and develop an intimate, personal relationship with Him.

Sunday School

Every Sunday Morning at 10:00 a.m. we have Bible study classes for Jr. and Sr. high students designed to help them study, discuss, and apply God's Word.

Ministry Opportunities

CCBC offers many ministry outlets for the youth group. Praise Band, Friday Night Skating, Nursing Home, Childcare, Work Days, and Vacation Bible School are just some of the ways teens get involved in outreach to the church and community.

Teen Bible Study

Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. we combine the Jr. and Sr. high youth for a time of Bible teaching, music, songs, skits, snacks, and games. Our assistant/youth pastor Ken Emerson does a great job of addressing contemporary issues facing teens from a Biblical perspective.

Youth Activities

We have monthly activities designed to provide opportunities for further discipleship and fellowship. Swim parties, bowling, retreats, and conferences are just a sample of the activities planned for our youth.

Teen Camp

One of the highlights of youth group is summer camp at Jan-Kay Ranch in Detroit, TX. It is a concentrated week of Biblical instruction, Christian fellowship, and a huge dose of fun!

Mission Trip

The high-schoolers have the opportunity to go on a mission trip each year to the Rio Grande Valley, where they present Bible Studies at Boys and Girls Clubs as well as an eveening VBS for our Hispanic host church.
